Not many are lucky enough to consider the Monterey Peninsula home. Janine Lewis has been living there for 22 years. She truly believes with her whole heart that she is so blessed to call this magical place home. Janine first began her career in the real estate industry working on the title and escrow side. After dedicating 13 years to escrow she decided to move into the financial side of real estate.

Over the course of her entire career she has had the opportunity to see and experience the very best of times in the real estate business as well as the housing and economic meltdown.  Through it all she has learned so much, stayed the course, always enjoyed her work and has dedicated herself to helping people work through the various challenges of refinancing or buying home.  This comedian at heart doesn’t take her job lightly. Her true care and passion for her clients is extremely evident throughout the entire transaction. She works for her clients the way she would want others to work for her.

Her business encompasses a full array of borrowers and price ranges, from conforming loans to super jumbo high net worth borrowers. Janine has an extensive knowledge of VA loans and VA underwriting. It is a true honor to give back in a small way for all that these veterans and active military do.

By keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, market swings and shifts and the most recent underwriting guidelines, Janine is able to confidently and knowledgeably guide her clients to the best possible outcome with the least amount of stress.  She monitors and analyzes the financial markets daily.  This commitment to studying the market enables her to see market trends as they evolve and allows her to counsel her clients in the best possible way.

In her time away from the office you can find Janine cracking jokes and telling stories while cooking for friends and family in her home. When you can’t find her in the kitchen this adventure seeker can be found on the top of a mountain snowboarding or hiking through the cliffs by the beach.

She believes the key to being successful at her job is having a true passion for it. Waking up every day fired up and ready to help her clients with all of their mortgage needs.
